Affordable liveaboard to get out on the Great Barrier Reef! Very simple bunkies, amazing diving. I was able to get my Advanced Open Water Diver certification on board

It rained for 99% of the time I was here. Would recommend avoiding the wet season
Surfers Paradise Beach
Go for sunset (cause it's pretty) and then all the PENGUINS come out at dusk!!!!
St Kilda Breakwater
Quite pretty and peaceful
Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria - Melbourne Gardens
Nice lookout - windy though! Bring a jacket if you plan to stay a while

Not many food recos for Aus, sorry folks. Was on a budget and mostly cooked my own food!! BUT fruit was delicious and cheap. Go get mango from the grocery store.

Warrnambool Beach Backpackers
Massive hostel - great location, nice pool, sick kitchen. Good for meeting people, not ideal for quiet time! Lol
Bunk Surfers Paradise
Loved it here! Nice pool in a very cool space. I stayed here before and after a few nights out diving, and they let me store my stuff.
Bounce Cairns
Nice enough, but a BIG hostel in the city, with a bar. Very loud and crowded
Bunk Brisbane
Cheapest room I could find… Shared bathroom, in the back of an Italian restaurant - it worked!

Pretty awesome little bunkies. Sleep 4, have kitchens… loved it here!
