I'm obsessed with this water bottle and literally use it every day. You'd be surprised how much bacteria and mold lives in water (not even creek/river water). Sometimes fast food stops that you may hit on roadtrips don't clean their machines… play it...
LARQ Bottle PureVis™
A Nalgene water bottle is also key for a hike! It has such a large capacity and the bottles are somehow basically indestructible. I'll use my Nalgene to carry extra water, then fill my LARQ bottle back up with it once my LARQ is empty!
