Lots of different bush walks in this National Park. Great view across to Palm Beach from the lookout at the end of the road. Park has access fee $12 per vehicle per day
West Head lookout | NSW National Parks
About an hour and a half south of Sydney. Lots of picnic areas and electric BBQ. Nice walk across the dam wall.
Cataract Dam
Halfway up the M1, quaint little place. Nice fishing spots, cafe on the water and the Pub has live music Friday and Saturday afternoons/evenings. Bushwalk to the Brooklyn Dam, 6km out and back. Boat & kayak hire.
Parsley Bay
Access to here is by ferry, boat or a walk in from the West Head National Park. Great swimming spot and big areas to picnic. Camping allowed with booking
