I have been living in Japan for four years. When I first arrived I had a major hormonal breakout likely caused by stress and the differences in diet and climate compared to the US. I then made it my quest to ask as many Japanese women I saw with good skin which products they recommend. Maybe one day I will write a blog post about all the recommendations I received from colleagues and friends! Because of their help I was able to take my skin from downright terrible to smooth and clear. My skin has never looked better in my life. Some of these products you may know of from viral videos on TikTok and Instagram (they got their popularity for a reason) but others are lesser known products from j and k beauty that have real results.

All the products I use for voluminous, hydrated, and healthy hair and scalp. My hair type is fine, a little wavy and dry. I am currently focused on strengthening my hair from the roots to the ends with an emphasis on promoting hair growth.
