I love being on the water, it is my happy place, but boating is just not about getting on boat and going. There are many must have to make your boating experience more enjoyable and less stressful.

Boat Essentials
I recommend all these boat essentials and personally have all items in the lost provided.
Boats are not cheap! Protect your boat with boat fenders. I prefer the ball fenders. They are easy to attach and provide a lot of cushion. They are especially great for tying up to other boats.
Boat Fenders - Docking & Anchoring Equipment
Most boats do come with a fire extinguisher, but it is law to have one. If your boat did notncime with one, make sure to get one ASAP!

What happens when your boat horn does not work and need to get attention for help? Yes, that is right, you must have a boat whistle on the boat at all times! Don't forget this item for your boat.

THIS! THIS IS THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE! I cannot recommend a box anchor enough, a complete life saver. A simple toss and drag and you are locked in. Don't mess around with anything else, worth every penny!!!
Box Anchor
I have all things RTIC. I love their product and even like their cooler bags more and more specifically their soft coolers. Soft coolers for the boat takes up less room than hard coolers, so I prefer them more and they hold more with less space.

Having a lifejacket for everyone on the boat is the law. You can have your nice fancy jackets, but these jackets are great backups to fill your requirement of the number of lifejackets that are coast guard approved.
4 Pack Life Jackets
The bungee dock lines are the best! No sense in using excess rope. A bungee dock line works well and keeps your boat in place. You can even use these for your box anchore. They come in several lenghts. Find one that will best suit your needs.

The RTIC Ultra-Tough Tote bag is a must! My friends have seen my bag and all went to get one. This bag is perfect for all your dry good; towels, cover-ups, keys, phone, whatever you need for the day on the lake. This bag comes in a variety of colors...

The knockoffs aren't as good, I have tried them! I am a Sand Cloud all the way! I love these towels. Perfect for the sand and water, and yes you will be near sand when boating. I highly recommend these towels. Give them a try.
Towels
I prefer the shorter totes with lids. This is perfect to keep paper towels, trash bags, first aid kit, and other items in and keep on the boat. More or less items you will use most days on the boat and keeps them all dry.

Yes, you need a first aid kit on the boat at all times! I jave used a time or too from getting cut by my wakesurf board fins or stepping on a sharp rock at party cove. A first aid kit is a MUST not a want.
First Aid Kit
You can never have enough charging cables. Be sure to stash a few on the boat for when your phone goes dead from playing music all day or taking photos.
Iphone Charging Cable
I keep about 6 of these on the boat, so anyone can charge their phones, vapes, GoPros, or what have you. Keeping on the boat is a good way not to forget yours at home, just throw them in a ziplock bag and store in the glovebox.

The Frost Buddy is hands down my favorite koozie. It keeps my drinks cold all day but also converts to hold all can and bottle sizes, from slim cans to tall boys. Everyone needs a Frost Buddy!!!
