I get super hot when I sleep, so cooling pillows are a must.
These pillows do not have a gel cooling aspect, but they have holes that go all the way through the pillows allowing for air flow.
They are nice pillows and work for winter. For summer, I still need my gel cooling pillows as I live in Texas.
They are very firm. So, if you like a softer pillow, these will probably not work for you. My husband did not like it.
But I do like them, and I've been using one for about a week now.

I have a purple mattress and it's great. But there was a huge gap between the mattress and the bottom of my sleigh bed. It was a constant annoyance.

I will say that if you are like me and you do not like your head angled up while you sleep, you'll need to put your pillow on the very edge of the lip to be comfortable, but I love it!
No more of my hand and arm sticking out from under the headboard.
Comes super compressed and it takes 24 hours to “fluff up”.
The cover also has side pockets and is machine washable!
