Did a road trip around Scotland and the UK for 3 weeks, and this was the route
Started off in Glasgow where we picked up the car
Glasgow, Scotland
Next stop after Glasgow, with a hiking stop at Ben Lomond
Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park
Stunning area, one of my favorites during this roadtrip
Glencoe
Small town where we stayed the night & made a day trip to Glenfinnan to catch the Hogwarts Express 🚂
Fort William
Make a day trip from Fort Williams and visit here to see where they filmed the Hogwarts Express in Harry Potter. It's a magical place.
Glenfinnan Viaduct
2
Beautiful area to drive through, make a stop and do the hike at Steall Falls!
Scottish Highlands
Incredible memories here. Spend at least 2 days here. There's a ton to do at the Isle of Skye and you'll be making tons of stops along the drive here.
Skye
A small town to stay the night in after the Isle of Skye. Grab a bite to eat at the Victorian Market
Inverness
A national park to stop at for a few trails.
Cairngorms National Park
Absolutely loved this city, it was so magical! This is the last city in Scotland before continuing the road trip into Wales & England.
Edinburgh, Scotland
This is a beautiful area to hike, walk & just relax.
Lake District
A quick maritime city to stop through as we made our way through England
Liverpool, England
You have to make a stop in Cotswold, it's a gorgeous place that's very serene. Spend a night here and walk around this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Cotswolds AONB
Made a city stop to explore this town with canals & trendy restaurants
Birmingham
Making a stop through Oxford & visiting Oxford University. Fun university town to stop through & learn about the place by doing a University walking tour.
Oxford
Stopped in this city and Bletchley Park to drop off the car and grab a train to London
Milton Keynes
Ended in London as the final stop on this UK road trip
