Yes, we know they would prefer cash and/or gift cards. I do usually include a few dollars and a gift card to the coffee shop in the neighborhood, but I like to add some other “fun” little gifts too.

Bubbles are a throw back thing. When the kids were little, I'd always include bubbles and sidewalk chalk. I still do that, and they have fun (or humor me for a little bit) and take a few minutes to go outside and act goofy together.
