Fresh or expired, I try to get my hands on all of it. Here are some common ones. Tip for older stock, cold stored will be fresher. You may need to compensate too depending on how old it is.

Camera Bags
I prefer camera cubes, as you can use any bag. They can also be used as stand alones.
My current bag for my film camera. I keep cleaning accessories in the pockets and an extra roll or two of film in the top. You can add a handle or strap to use it as a stand alone camera bag. If not using for a camera, I have a few set up as tech pouches.

35mm Film Stocks
I tend to shoot medium (120mm) but I started on 35mm. My first camera was the Canon AE-1. These are my recommendations for films, basically the same as the 120.
Very common and great option to use.
KODAK Portra 400 Professional ISO 400, 35mm, 36 ...
This has to be one of my favorite for black and whites. I've used this for decades. Common in basic classes.

I picked this up when I couldn't find Portra locally. I can't say I was disappointed. Definitely worth trying it out if you haven't yet.

Another great option for a starter camera. This can take a beating and keep shooting.
Pentax K1000
If you are into range finders, this is fun option. Can be found pretty cheap too.

Sadly the prices for these have gone up. A very solid option for those looking for a TLR style camera.

An auto version of the GS645. A medium format point and shoot.

Heavy weight medium format. Its up there on most photographers wish lists.
